HR Generalist Leader

This role offers the opportunity to work within our People team as a HR Generalist Leader, responsible for providing expert guidance and support to managers and employees. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with experience in managing recruitment, talent development, and employee relations.
The ideal candidate will have a CIPD qualification (level 3-5) and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be proactive in contributing to the development of our organisation's people strategy and provide guidance on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives
- Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters
- Manage the hiring process, including job descriptions, posting advertisements, and interviewing candidates
- Implement comprehensive onboarding plans for new hires
- Evaluate and ensure the provision of all agreed training throughout the year
- Assist line managers with performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Review payroll and pension requirements on a monthly basis
