About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Professional to join our team at Lindsay House, a 17-bed supported living service in Northampton.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning and maintenance services to a high standard, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Service Manager, Team Leader, Support Workers, and Volunteers to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the service's policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of cleaning schedules and rotas, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in cleaning and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and service users.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols and guidelines, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
