ASC Learning Support Assistant

About the Role
The Learning Support Assistant will work with students with Autism and associated difficulties, providing support in a variety of settings. This will include facilitating individual learning programmes, providing support in small groups and 1-1 activities, and collaborating with ASC Coordinators to meet the needs of learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students with Autism and associated difficulties in a variety of settings
- Facilitate individual learning programmes and provide support in small groups and 1-1 activities
- Collaborate with ASC Coordinators to meet the needs of learners
- Provide personal care and support as required
Requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to work with tutors and other staff
- Ability to provide support to students with Autism and associated difficulties
- Willingness to learn about Autism and associated difficulties
- Resilience, motivation, and patience
