We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Activate Learning. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and associated difficulties in achieving their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate individual learning programmes and provide support to students in small groups and 1-1 activities
- Collaborate with ASC Coordinators to develop creative and purposeful lesson plans that meet the needs of learners
- Support students to access learning on their course within the mainstream learning environment and off-site activities
- Provide personal care support to students, with training provided
- Good communication skills to work with tutors and coordinate with the team
- Ability to provide support to students with Autism and associated difficulties
- Resilience, motivation, initiative, and patience
- A willingness to learn about Autism and associated difficulties
- Generous annual leave entitlement
