Mental Health Intervention Worker

In this dynamic role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery care plans for clients with mental health conditions in the community. Your primary focus will be on preventing hospital admissions and promoting well-being through home visits, group work, and individual support. You will also have the opportunity to participate in memory assessments and escort patients to receive ECT. To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with clients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic education (GCSEs or equivalent)
- QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification within 12 months of employment
- Care Certificate training within the first 3 months of joining unless already obtained
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience working with people in a caring situation or mental health services
Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. The NHS offers a range of benefits, including pension schemes, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
