About the Role
">This Mechatronics Engineering Apprentice position offers a unique opportunity to transition from military experience to a civilian career.
The role focuses on developing skills in advanced manufacturing and engineering.
">Key Responsibilities
">You will be responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment, fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues, planned and preventative maintenance activities, and modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.
You will work alongside experienced technicians to develop expertise in areas like electrical, electronic, and control systems, mechanical engineering principles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and safe working practices and maintenance procedures.
">Requirements
">A minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and a science/technology subject are required.
You should have a genuine passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and motivation to work both independently and as part of a team.
