Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of various venues across the city, including the management of staff in compliance with company protocols, legislation and agreed processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the high-quality delivery of operations, attending and managing events in consultation with your line manager.
  • Effectively manage operational expectations, including liaison with agreed clients.
  • Manage the operational staff ensuring that all tasks are carried out in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
  • Motivate and develop the casual workforce in line with company objectives.
  • Manage your own operational and administrative workload in consultation with your manager.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures relating to the role including laws and regulatory influences.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times including the effective use of communication, oral and written, and observe high levels of confidentiality.
  • Respond to internal and external communication in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • You will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
  • Experience in operational supervision/management within the security, crowd management or event industries.
  • A full driving licence is essential as this exciting role requires travel.
  • Strong people management skills, to coach and motivate casual workers.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to build upon exciting client relationships.
  • Strong administration skills in order to provide key reports.
  • Computer literate and competent at using Microsoft Office.
