About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse (General) to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver exceptional care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the quality of care is maintained
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration
  • Mentoring or supervision qualification
  • Experience in producing care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
