Residential Property Team - An Exciting Opportunity

We are a national law firm with a local approach, providing legal and financial expertise to our clients. Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals and businesses through life's challenges.

A talented Legal Assistant is required to join our Residential Property team in Newbury. The role involves providing conveyancing admin support to fee earners, enabling them to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

  • Completing file openings and conducting conflict checks
  • Preparing sales packs, emailing managing agents, and dealing with enquiries
  • Preparing initial protocol forms
  • Drafting contract papers
  • Preparing property search reports
  • Drafting documents, including leases, statutory notices, and lenders' consent
  • Preparing letters to clients, banks, other solicitors, etc.

About the Role

We seek a personable Legal Assistant with excellent customer service skills, high proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, and experience working in an administrative capacity. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with HMLR, SDLT, and conveyancing searches and documentation.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
