Job Title: Assistant BuyerWe're seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our Buying & Merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for sourcing, developing, and buying a commercial range that maximises sales and profit.
Key Responsibilities:- Source and develop a commercial range that meets our brand's handwriting and customer needs
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Manage the upkeep of critical path and ensure smooth running of fit sessions
- Prepare and present weekly department performance and delivery schedule meetings
- Review trade reports and drive decision-making
- Proven experience in buying and merchandising, with a strong understanding of commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Courage to back decisions, try new things, and challenge where necessary
- Natural curiosity and focus on solutions, not problems
