Job Title: Assistant Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our Buying & Merchandising team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, developing, and buying a commercial range that maximises sales and profit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and develop a commercial range that meets our brand's handwriting and customer expectations
  • Maintain a clear understanding of our competitors' offerings and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Take ownership of your area and demonstrate your influence on the range build
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage the upkeep of critical path and ensure smooth running of fit sessions
  • Prepare and present weekly department performance and delivery schedule meetings
  • Review bulk independently and drive decision making
  • Sample management and preparation for Shoots
  • Independently analyse Trade reports and discuss key points with your Buyer
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in buying and merchandising with a strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
  • Ability to think creatively and logically, with a passion for product and emerging trends
  • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach and a focus on building strong relationships
  • Natural curiosity and a solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
