Special Needs Education Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Special Needs Education Support Professional to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Special Needs Education Support Professional, you will provide personalized support to students with complex needs, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support to students with SEN, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to create comprehensive support plans.
  • Contribute to assessments and reports, highlighting student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and training, enhancing your knowledge and skills in SEN support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN in a mainstream school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications and training in SEN support and teaching assistantship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.

Salary: £29,000 - £36,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
