Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to provide clinical leadership to the MSK AHP Hands team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating current pathways in our service and recommending areas for improvement to enhance patient care and service effectiveness.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and be supported in their continued development, contributing to the success of our five-year strategy for MSK AHP Clinical Services.

Main Duties of the Job

Accountable for delivering high-quality therapy care within a defined clinical area or pathway.

Responsible for diagnosing conditions, screening for serious pathology, and referring patients for treatment or surgery.

Provide expert clinical practice, advanced clinical reasoning, and support to staff.

Lead the development of staff within the remit, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines and frameworks.

Develop the evidence base for practice through audit, clinical effectiveness, and research activity.
