Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Clinical Pharmacist to join our Transformation Unit as a Medical Specialties Lead. This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop your clinical, leadership, and management skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality medicines optimisation services to patients while developing effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Lead the medical wards team, liaising with consultants and ward managers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Train and develop rotational pharmacists and Medicines Management Technicians within the team.
Person Specification
  • A clear understanding of clinical pharmacy practice relating to adult Medical Specialties.
  • Aptitude for training and motivating others, including experience in carrying out appraisals and sickness management.
  • Excellent time-management skills, prioritising tasks effectively and problem-solving complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, interacting with Healthcare Professionals and patients alike.
  • An ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team, processing complex clinical information accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Significant relevant experience as a hospital Clinical Pharmacist for adult medicine.
  • Experience in providing a clinical pharmacy service to various ward areas.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £61,927 - £68,676 per annum, plus an EDC allowance, reflecting the Trust's commitment to attracting and retaining exceptional talent.
