About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Team Leader to manage and deliver our building control service at South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building regulations, developing team processes, and facilitating informed decisions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of building regulations, experience in managing and leading teams, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to keep their knowledge up-to-date. A degree or equivalent qualification in building studies or a related field is required, along with full professional membership of RICS, CABE, or an equivalent organization.

Benefits

The salary for this role is £59,415 to £64,590 per year, and we offer 25 days annual leave rising to 30 days after five years, as well as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career development.
