**Job Title:** Building Control Team Supervisor

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced professional to supervise our Building Control team at South and Vale District Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that building projects meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the Building Control team
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building control or a related field
  • Proven track record of supervising teams and managing projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £61,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. We offer a flexible and hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to work from home or in our office base at Abbey House, Abingdon.

Location: Our office base is located at Abbey House, Abingdon, but we operate in a flexible way, focusing on outcomes rather than physical location.
