This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our defence sector team.

The role involves working closely with suppliers to maintain and enhance the quality of products and processes.

Description

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing supplier performance through regular audits
  • Implementing corrective actions to address any quality issues identified
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements
  • Ensuring adherence to industrial standards and regulatory compliance
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier quality-related KPIs
  • Managing the supplier quality approval process
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understanding and interpreting manufacturing audits in accordance with; ISO 9001, 14001, AQAP 2110 and other industry standards

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Quality or Supply Chain Management Qualification (or 5 years experience)
  • A qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Valid Passport and Driving License
  • Level 2 Paint Inspection
  • Strong LEAN, CI background
  • Experience of APQP, PPAP, FMEAs
  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
