PMO Analyst Job Description

Our client, a leading business in Warwick, is seeking a skilled PMO Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design and establishment of the Portfolio Management Office, including the development of governance frameworks, standards, and processes specific to the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. PMO Design and Implementation:
    Contribute to the creation of templates, tools, and methodologies tailored to support effective portfolio management. Assist in the implementation and rollout of PMO processes across the organisation.
  2. Governance and Compliance:
    Ensure all portfolio projects comply with client policies, procedures, and standards. Develop and maintain a compliance tracking system for portfolio projects.
  3. Project Monitoring and Reporting:
    Track portfolio project progress against schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working in a PMO role for a portfolio or large programme.
  2. Familiarity with the structure of the electricity industry and market.
  3. An understanding of our client's role, objectives, and key external stakeholders.
  4. Proactive and capable of working in a time-pressured environment.
  5. Strong experience dealing with multiple competing stakeholders.
  6. Quality-focused, with excellent attention to detail.
  7. Supportive of a team under pressure.
  8. Proficient in MSP, Excel, and SharePoint.
