Project Quantity Surveyor - Rail Sector

We are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Finlay Jude Associates Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of rail projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that they are in line with the approved budget
  • Manage and coordinate the work of sub-contractors, ensuring that they are meeting their contractual obligations
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to clients, including project valuations and payment schedules
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and sub-contractors

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the rail sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
