Commercial Quantity Surveyor - Rail

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our regional commercial team, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of our rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure commercial procedures comply with our Commercial Manual and Operating Framework.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and monitoring cost movements within project valuations.
  • Process contractor, subcontractor, and consultant orders and payments, variation orders, and day works.
  • Review variations on third-party projects and liaise with Technical Project Managers for approvals.
  • Forecast final accounts and prepare and present cost-to-complete reports.
Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ability to input and maintain computer-based databases or systems, including Coins and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
