We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Manchester, supporting the successful completion of rail projects. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the procurement, commercial, and contractual elements of our projects are executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project teams to identify and cultivate business opportunities, and manage projects and contracts profitably from start to finish.
- Manage internal and external relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of our sites and products.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets, monitor cost movements, and process contractor, subcontractor, and consultant orders and payments.
- Review variations on 3rd Party projects and liaise with Technical Project Managers for approvals.
- Forecast final accounts and prepare and present cost-to-complete reports.
- Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health and Safety requirements.
- Ability to input and maintain computer-based databases or systems, including Coins and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
