Career Opportunity: Regional Planning Role

We're seeking an experienced Regional Planner to join our dynamic team in the North. As a key member of our operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring project programmes are current, consistent, and accurate.

Main duties for this position include:

  1. Regularly reviewing each project programme, capturing changes, and recording them appropriately.
  2. Utilizing planning software, preferably Microsoft Project and/or ASTA, to ensure programme accuracy and compliance.
  3. Updating programmes regularly to meet contractual requirements, as-built records, and progress, including two-weekly look-ahead programmes.
  4. Reviewing site records, including contractual notices and communication related to programme matters, ensuring submissions and acceptance are contractually compliant.
  5. Monitoring the Project Change register in parallel with works delivered and contracts.
  6. Reviewing the Project Risk & Opportunities Register.
  7. Facilitating entitlement not previously captured by the site team.
  8. Assisting the site team in protecting programme entitlement and facilitating EOT claims.
  9. Providing advice on planning, programming, methods of construction, and solutions to engineering problems.
  10. Supporting the Regional Manager/Director in developing processes and systems.
  11. Offering direction and planning support to the pre-contract tender team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, experience with site planning and managing civil engineering projects, proficiency in Microsoft Project, and knowledge of the NEC suite of Forms of Contract.
