The Summer Intern role at Pragma Consulting will provide a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial strategy consulting. Interns will assist in the delivery of projects, undertake analysis and research tasks, contribute to the preparation of client reports and presentations, and develop an understanding of internal tools.

Project Design and Delivery

  • Understand client objectives and project deliverables
  • Take minutes of internal and client meetings
  • Aid in coordination of meetings, data requests, and research requirements
  • Review and maintain awareness of data received from clients or third-party providers
  • Aid in slide creation and report sections
  • Deliver to agreed objectives in a timely fashion
  • Efficiently assemble report content, applying structured thinking

Analytical Insight

  • Aid in contribution to hypothesis generation process
  • Understand project hypotheses and narrative
  • Assist with set-up, design, and testing of project research inputs
  • Conduct desk research of macro-trends, commercial concepts, customer behavior, and company performance
  • Assist in creation of stimulus material for focus groups and interviews
  • Conduct analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Understand principles and techniques of commercial analysis
  • Use analysis outputs to prove or disprove hypotheses and develop insights, solutions, and recommendations

Business Development

  • Assist in research and data gathering activities for marketing, pitches, and proposals
  • Write articles for external PR newsletter
