We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Neuro Rehab and General Rehab department at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience working in stroke and neuro rehabilitation, either in a training or qualified post. They will be responsible for providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex conditions.
The ideal candidate will have post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology. They will also have experience in clinical supervision and the supervision of doctoral trainees.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy to clients with complex conditions.
- Exercise full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care as a care coordinator within the context of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement plans for highly specialist psychological therapy and/or management of clients' mental health conditions.
- Provide leadership in multi-disciplinary training and development, service audit and development, service evaluation and research.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied Psychology.
- HCPC registration as an Applied Psychologist with Chartered Status.
- Experience of working in a physical health setting, with a focus on stroke and neuro rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
