Job Description

This role is focused on providing support to non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to inclusive education and a passion for helping every child reach their full potential. They will be able to work effectively with a range of professionals and parents, using a range of communication techniques to support students' engagement and interaction.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children with ASD, particularly non-verbal students, in a school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children's individual needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
