Role Overview
As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will contribute to a positive living environment, enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client\u0027s quality of life
Demonstrate and display a good example, acting as a role model in line with Home Instead\u0027s expectations for other staff members of the team
Maintain regular communication with management and raise concerns when required
Act as a mentor for other staff, offering opportunities to allow those staff to shadow and observe the level of high-quality care expected
Be responsible for starting new care packages and be a representative for the quality of care provided, addressing any snagging issues at the outset
Introduce new and existing staff to clients and be a point of contact for support
Build bonds of trust and form relationships with clients, families, and other staff members
Cover visits due to annual leave, sickness, and other emergency requirements
Be available on the allocated working day to cover any visits required that may need covering to ensure 100% compliance in service delivery and no missed visits
Possess a good work ethic and dedication
Maintain professional relationships
Deliver companionship, personal care, and home help services as required in line with the Job Description of the Care Professional
Essential Criteria
Be confident and self-motivated with the ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships, promoting opportunities available at Home Instead
Possess full flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and nights to meet the demands of the business
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess 6 months of industry knowledge
Be willing to undertake further education and training as required
Additional Information
Due to the flexible nature of this role and business requirements, we are offering this job on a minimum of 30 contracted hours per week, with scope to build as and when needed.
Your weekly rota may come through blank, but you will be used to cover annual leave and sickness, and you will be paid regardless of whether you are required to pick up 30 hours or not.
