About the Job: As a 1:1 Education Support Specialist, you will work directly with a student who requires additional support in achieving their full potential. This role involves implementing effective behaviour intervention plans tailored to the student's needs, collaborating with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals to ensure the student's educational and behavioural goals are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with challenging behaviours within the classroom and on an outreach basis. Enhanced DBS clearance is required, and easy commutable distance to the London Borough of Greenwich is preferred. An estimated salary of £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience) reflects the importance of this role in supporting the student's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support to the student with behavioural challenges in and outside the school setting.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour intervention plans tailored to the student's needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external professionals to support the student's educational and behavioural goals.
  • Employ a variety of behaviour management techniques and strategies to promote positive behaviours.
