About the Role

The Girlswear Graphic & Print Designer is a varied role that supports our in-house design team. This position involves preparing and contributing to customer meetings, collecting samples, and developing ranges of shape, print, and graphic design.

L&F Fashion is seeking an experienced, creative, ambitious, and dedicated Print and Graphic Designer to produce strong apparel print designs that translate into commercial products.

We are looking for a Designer who is:

  • Experienced in high-street fashion design across girlswear
  • Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customers' direction and critical path within tight deadlines
  • An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe
  • Highly organized, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), Photoshop, and Illustrator, with 3D design skills being beneficial
  • Ability to design shape and graphics, with a focus on graphics
  • To have garment technical knowledge and the ability to generate detailed tech packs
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Proactive, positive, and solutions-focused
  • Education to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business, or retail

About the Recruitment Process:

The interview process will consist of two interviews and a design project:

  • Initial interview with the hiring manager and a member of the HR team
  • If successful in the initial interview, a design project will be set
  • Second interview, in person, with the hiring manager and team
