About the Role

The Senior Girlswear Designer will be a key member of the dedicated Kidswear team, reporting directly to the Design Manager. This role will be hands-on, creating and developing design concepts for young and older girlswear. Working closely with the team, you will be involved in all aspects of the business from initial concept to finished product, ensuring we provide high-quality, latest fashion to our customers.

We are looking for a Senior Designer who is:

  • Experienced in high-street fashion design for girlswear, with a strong understanding of current trends and themes.
  • Commercially aware and able to work with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with customer direction and critical path, often within tight deadlines.
  • An excellent communicator, comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including suppliers based in the Far East and Europe.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and able to work to tight deadlines, with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), Photoshop, and Illustrator, with 3D design skills a bonus.
  • Ability to design shape and graphics, with garment technical knowledge and the ability to generate detailed tech packs.
  • Driven and results-oriented, proactive, positive, and solutions-focused, with a degree in a qualification related to fashion design, business, or retail.

About the Recruitment Process

The interview process will consist of two rounds, with the initial interview featuring the Senior Designer, Account Manager, Design Manager, and a member of the HR Team, followed by a final interview with the Senior Designer, SVP, and a member of the HR Team.
