Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
- Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.
- Act as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.
- Work as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.
Requirements
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Immediate Life Support provider.
- Mentorship qualification.
