We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENd Learning Assistant to join our specialist school in Middlesbrough, catering for children aged 2-19 with a broad spectrum of special needs.

As a specialist SENd Learning Assistant, you will work closely with children on the Autistic spectrum, utilizing various strategies to support their learning and needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting children with Autism and other SENd needs in a specialist school environment.
  2. Developing and implementing individualized learning plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  3. Maintaining a positive and supportive attitude, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience working with children with Autism or SENd, preferably in a school setting.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to hold student attention and focus.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
