Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SEN Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in an EYFS or Primary setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with SEN.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to regular review meetings.
  • To promote positive behavior and social skills among students, and to support their emotional well-being.
  • To work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality educational experience for all students.
Requirements:
  • A Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 preferred).
  • Experience working one-to-one with SEN students, with SEN qualifications desirable.
  • Experience working within the Primary Sector.
  • Knowledge of the KS1/KS2 Curriculum.
  • A commitment to promoting the progression of pupils' learning.
