About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our LD CAMHS team in Oxfordshire. As a Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our service users and supporting the development of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the LD CAMHS team
  • Develop and implement clinical services across the patch
  • Contribute to the development of medical education and supervision programs
  • Participate in the Trust-wide consultant network and develop peer networks
  • Collaborate with the University of Oxford psychiatric department to provide high-quality teaching and training
Requirements
  • MB MS or equivalent medical qualification
  • CCT in child and adolescent psychiatry or equivalent
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
  • Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
