We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our LD CAMHS team in Oxfordshire. As a Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our service users and supporting the development of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the LD CAMHS team
- Develop and implement clinical services across the patch
- Contribute to the development of medical education and supervision programs
- Participate in the Trust-wide consultant network and develop peer networks
- Collaborate with the University of Oxford psychiatric department to provide high-quality teaching and training
- MB MS or equivalent medical qualification
- CCT in child and adolescent psychiatry or equivalent
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
- Excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent opportunities for career progression
