Job Overview:

ARM is seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our Special Process and Repair Engineering team. This is a 6-month contract role with a competitive salary of £26 per hour, paid through an umbrella company.

As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for taking on technical administrator duties, including coordinating shop technical reviews of new repairs and procedures, coordinating technical reviews between multiple stakeholders, compiling technical documentation, and providing day-to-day administrative support for the site NPI schedule. You will also be expected to improve the NPI process through digital tools and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience in an engineering or technical aviation role. They should possess knowledge of repair and inspection processes for Aircraft Engine Components, demonstrated ability in using digital tools, and the ability to compile concise and accurate engineering documentation. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to plan and coordinate projects and influence others.
