Rolls-Royce plc is currently recruiting for a Submarine Structural Integrity Specialist to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our submarine systems.

As a Submarine Structural Integrity Specialist you will be responsible for undertaking a range of mechanical assessments, including linear and non-linear finite element analyses. You will make use of traditional hand calculation methods, commercial finite element codes and bespoke analysis codes.

In addition, you will be expected to develop and implement methodologies to assess submarine nuclear plant components. This role requires a deep understanding of structural integrity analysis and the ability to apply mathematical models to real-world problems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
