About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of the Regional Technical team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our front-line services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to coastal staff and volunteers, ensuring rapid and effective resolution of technical queries.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop common ways of working, ensuring regulatory compliance and conformance to central governance and guidance.
  • Oversee strategic planning for maintenance and defect rectification, utilizing regional resources efficiently.
  • Plan and undertake technical investigations, troubleshooting, trials, and analysis of data.
  • Be an integral part of the Regional Technical Cell, contributing to the development of common ways of working.
About You

You will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in marine equipment design, production, or support. You will be familiar with supporting documentation and processes across the engineering lifecycle. You will be able to handle time-dependent demands, ensuring our lifesaving assets remain on service.

You will need to be currently residing in the Scotland region and have a valid driving license. A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely) is desirable.
