Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client in Doncaster. This role requires a detail-oriented individual to manage and coordinate the logistics of our client's transport operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics planning and coordination, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. They will be proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office, and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The successful Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Planning and scheduling transport routes to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Monitoring transport activities and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of transport activities, including logs and reports.
- Communicating effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
The salary for this role is £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
