About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our client in Doncaster. As a key member of the transport team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling transport routes to ensure optimal efficiency.
">Salary: £30-£35K per annum depending on experience.
">Job Description:
">- Plan and schedule transport routes to minimize costs and maximize delivery times.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to facilitate timely deliveries.
- Monitor transport activities and address any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including logs and reports.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
">- Proven experience in logistics or transport planning.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in transport management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
