About the Job
NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Older People Community Mental Health Team in Surrey Heath. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and interventions to individuals and their carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and interventions to individuals and their carers, in line with occupational therapy pathways.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, carers, and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Contribute to the generic functioning of the team.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support workers.
- Contribute to service development and audits.
Person Specification
- Relevant post-qualification clinical experience.
- Experience of using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Experience of using relevant occupational therapy assessment and implementing interventions.
- UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
