About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Older People Community Mental Health Team in Surrey Heath. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and evidence-based occupational therapy assessment and interventions to individuals and their carers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the generic functioning of the team and advocate for occupational therapy within the Trust.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of occupational therapy interventions and contribute to service development and audits.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support workers.
- Take on the role of lead professional as appropriate.
Requirements
- Relevant post-qualification clinical experience and a degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience of using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
