Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to individuals and their carers.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including service users, carers, and external agencies.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior occupational therapists and support staff.
  • Participate in service development and audits, contributing to the improvement of occupational therapy services.

Requirements

  • Relevant post-qualification clinical experience in occupational therapy.
  • Experience of using multiple occupational frames of reference and approaches.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes.
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body (if applicable).
