Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality support services to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the home, including day-to-day management and operational matters.
- Lead and inspire a staff team, providing training and development opportunities, supervision, and rotas to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage stress and difficult dynamics, demonstrating emotional resilience and ability to sustain and work through placement issues.
- Monitor the service for quality of care, ensuring compliance with Ofsted inspection requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop constructive working relationships with the wider community and multi-agency teams.
- Level 3 Diploma (Children, Young People and Families) or working towards a Level 5 Diploma.
- At least 3 years' experience of working with children in a registered environment, with 1 year at a senior level.
- Full clean UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Experience of working in a residential setting, inter-agency work, and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Starting salary from £40,000 to £52,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).
