We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with complex learning disabilities in an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with special educational needs in the classroom, helping them engage with lessons and complete tasks in line with their learning plans.
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting to teachers, parents, and other professionals to help refine support strategies.
- Provide personal care support, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance, ensuring the comfort and well-being of students.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working in care or education, preferably with children or young people with special needs.
- A valid driver's license and access to a car due to the rural location.
