Dedicated Educational Support Professional

As a dedicated Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of young adults with special educational needs and disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.
About the Role
You will work as part of a collaborative team comprising therapists, nurses, and support workers, sharing a passion for providing optimal outcomes for students. Your key responsibilities include:
- Prioritising student needs in every aspect of your work.
- Creating a secure and supportive learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Utilising individualised approaches to support students in both one-on-one and group learning settings.
- Assisting educators in the execution of their lessons.
- Monitoring and recording students' achievements relative to their learning goals.
- Organising and coordinating educational outings and activities.
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our educational programs.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding qualities, including a passion for working with children and young adults (aged 19-25), a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals they support, creativity in developing new ideas to engage students, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary: £21,262.05 per annum
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience in classroom settings, with the ability to track and record student progress, ideally familiarity with specialised areas such as Autism, Epilepsy, and PMLD, and a willingness to pursue or complete a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools (with financial support available).
