The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative design and a deep understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles. You will be expected to work across multiple projects, collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Apply your expertise in digital and graphic design to create engaging and effective visual communications, including advertising campaigns, websites, web applications, and documentation.
- Project Management: Take ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and printers to ensure high-quality finished products for printed materials, large-scale graphics, and merchandise.
- Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team in promoting special offers and seasonal products through the creation of banners, digital storyboards, and visuals.
- Design Tools: Utilize Adobe Creative Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Adobe XD) and MS Office (including PowerPoint) to create and communicate designs.
- Research and Sourcing: Source and retouch high-quality and relevant imagery to enhance designs.
Key Skills:
- Communication and Organization: Possess good communication and organization skills to handle a full and varied workload.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years' professional/commercial experience in graphic design.
- Design Software: In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Software, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Web Development: Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform solutions.
- Emerging Technologies: Keen interest in emerging technologies and the web.
- Attention to Detail: Acute observation and an expert eye for detail.
- Resilience: Resilience to rejection and constructive criticism of creative work.
- Team Player: Hands-on and 'can-do' attitude, willing to get stuck in and work collaboratively.
