Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Visual Designer to join our team at MGA Entertainment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning designs for our fashion and character art projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts for fashion, character art, layout, and product development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure consistent brand standards and quality.
  • Establish and maintain art styles and techniques, and work with management to create retail pitches and trend/mood boards.
  • Communicate effectively with requestors, art directors, designers, and team members using industry-standard terminology.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in the industry through research, observation, and print media.
  • Work effectively in a deadline-driven environment, handling multiple assignments and changing priorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Graphics/Design/Art (or equivalent training) preferred and/or minimum 5 years related work experience.
  • Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
    • Good judgment and decision-making.
    • Thorough working knowledge of structure, perspective, human form, color, and composition.
    • Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Great organizational and time management skills.
    • Extremely detail-oriented.
    • Active listener.
    • Great visualization skills.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Creative problem solver.
    • Motivated self-starter and proactive thinker/doer in a fast-paced environment.
    • Friendly, people-oriented team player willing and able to move from project to project.
