Job Title: Junior Claims Adjuster

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Junior Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in the Claims team by managing and resolving claims for our Motor Fleet customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of claims up to a pre-determined authority level, ensuring prompt, fair, and expert resolution.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently and effectively.
  • Adhere strictly to Global Claims Handling Practices and demonstrate AXA XL behaviours and values.
  • Develop relationships with Underwriters, Actuaries, and other departments as required.
  • Ensure timely communication, new claims, and notifications, identifying trends and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide superior customer service to policyholders and brokers, actively maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Instruct and control surveyors, loss adjusters, solicitors, and experts in connection with day-to-day claims handling.
  • Monitor internal control reports and data entry activities to support the motor department.
Requirements:
  • Excellent eye for detail, including accuracy and ability to review, analyse, and gauge an understanding of claims data.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills to communicate efficiently internally and externally.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize workload and operate to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for the customer, remaining calm in the face of challenge to effectively help clients.
  • Creative thinker who uses their own initiative to identify development opportunities and demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Enthusiastic, with the ability to adapt to change and new challenges.
  • Displays positive and inclusive behaviours to ensure everyone feels valued and respected.
