Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to provide high-quality support to our Financial Planners, ensuring exceptional client service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare client files and reviews, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow models to inform financial planning decisions.
  • Produce comprehensive suitability reports and recommendations.
  • Identify areas for planning and research opportunities to enhance client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planners to analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of recommendations, ensuring compliance and timely completion of application forms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of the financial planning process and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial products, including pensions, investments, IHT planning, tax planning, and protection.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with new product, technical, and legislative changes in the financial services industry.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Paraplanning role, with a strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in client cash-flow modelling software, with the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial planning concepts and principles.
