You will be highly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver a high-quality service to children, families, and carers.
As a Social Work Assistant, you will work directly with children and families, facilitating family time, providing parenting support, and exploring healthy relationships and communication.
Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with families, Social Workers, and partner agencies, including Police, Health, and Education.
Kent County Council offers a hybrid working model, with a combination of home and office working. The contractual base is at Maidstone, Invicta House. The team covers a large geographical area, and you will be expected to work flexibly across the area.
