About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Agricultural Science to join our newly established Writtle School of Agriculture, Animal and Environmental Sciences. The successful candidate will play a lead role in developing ARU Writtle's reputation in smart and sustainable Agriculture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong research profile, with a proven track record of securing external research funding and collaborating with industry partners. They will also have excellent teaching and leadership skills, with experience in supervising research projects at undergraduate and MSc level.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of our research strategy, working closely with colleagues across the Faculty of Science and Engineering. They will also be expected to engage with external stakeholders, including funding bodies and industry partners, to promote the university's research and innovation activities.
